Content Managers - Let's Get Started!

Welcome to SparkLearn! This article provides key resources to getting started using SparkLearn and creating the best content for your learners.

Preparing Your Content for SparkLearn

Before you start importing and authoring articles and other content into the system, it' a good idea to think about how to best organize your information.

Set Up Your Collections

Now that you have thought about how to organize your content, it's time to start building the framework. Here is the order that we recommend you to start with:

  • Create a few Topics – Every piece of content you create will belong to a Topic, so start by creating a few that best encompasses the content you will be sharing.
  • Create some Tags – Make a few Tags to add to your future content. Tags link content with common concepts and themes.
  • Create a Course – Use Courses to create a linear experience for learners by having them complete a series of content. You can apply the Tags you've just created to your new Course and assign them to one of your new Topics.
  • Create a Journey – Build on the content you have been creating by putting one or more courses together to create a Journey.

Create Some Content

Fill your newly built framework with rich content, including videos, links, flashcards, tips, quizzes, and more. You can use your collections to connect this content in the ways that work best for your organization. Here are some quick guides to help you out.

Add Users and Groups

Your content is only useful for learners to use. The next step is to add Users to SparkLearn and organize them into Groups. Once you have Groups, you can assign the content you have created to the Groups who need it.

🎉Congratulations! You have now learned the basics of SparkLearn and are ready to provide great mobile learning to your learners.
