SparkLearn® 3.8 Release Notes

February 2023

Overview

The 3.8 release of SparkLearn puts the focus on content creation. Brand new interactive features make content creation easier, and content teams now have AI text support with a new Grammarly integration.*

Details

  1. New Built-in Interactions
    • Accordion: Focus your learners and enable them to find information much easier. Using this accordion interaction allows your users to dive into the content they need more detail on with less scrolling.
    • Slideshow: Perfect for hybrid learning, the slideshow interaction allows Content Managers to present a deck of slides to the user with graphics and text. Customizable to allow varied text placements, this tool will enable learners to review slides at their own pace or allow facilitators to present directly from SparkLearn.
    • Hotspots: Allow your learners to click on images for more details. These hotspots can include text, images, and even videos to get your learners the information they need.
  2. New Reporting Tools
    • A new report has been added, providing the “Attended” data from live events.
  3. Built-in Grammarly Support*
    • Help your content teams with the Grammarly AI Writing Assistant. From grammar and spelling to style and tone, Grammarly’s suggestions are comprehensive, helping you communicate effectively and as you intend. If you have a Grammarly account and are logged in to that account, your preferences and team settings can be used inside of SparkLearn. Note: Use of the Grammarly features leverages the Grammarly API and may subject you to the Terms and Conditions of that software.

* As of January 10, 2024, Grammarly's SDK for applications has been discontinued and will no longer be integrated into SparkLearn. Learn More.
