      SparkLearn® 3.19 Release Notes

      Overview 

      The SparkLearn 3.19 release brings a new image editing tool and updates to our content integrations.

      Details

      Image Editing 

      • With new tools, you can now crop images to highlight key areas to focus the learner’s attention.
      • You can set the optimal aspect ratio for images within articles.
      • A live preview is available as you make changes.

      Xyleme improvements 

      • Multiple image and text formatting options for Xyleme-connected content.

      Enhancements and Bug Fixes

      Web App

      • Content managers can now crop images that are added to articles
      • Fixes an issue where the search field on the group section page kept losing focus
      • Fixes an issue where the mobile app could not send analytics about quiz cards embedded within articles
      • Accordions are now optional within procedures (controlled by the “Accordion” Xyleme attribute)
      • Xyleme Integration Improvements
        • Bolded words within procedure step titles now appear bold in SparkLearn
        • Substeps in procedures now appear as lettered instead of numbered
        • Adds support for wrapping text around images
        • Adds support for links on images
        • Adds support for alt tags on images

      Mobile App

      • Fixed a bug with quiz completion
      • Bug fixes and performance improvements

      Known Issues / Limitations

      Web App

      • Broken links from archive content still available in the link checker report for Content Managers
      • Entity browser loses selection when changing pages
      • Re-syncing agent profiles when there are thousands of users encounter 429 errors from the LRS
      • Learner is unable to view glossary definitions if the term is included within an annotation

      Mobile App

      • None

      To ensure that your application is kept up to date, make sure your iOS & Android auto-updates are turned on. We have provided links below to assist you with turning on this feature.
